We ordered a protein plate and a salad bowl. The food tasted good but the portion of meat was small compared to the whole dish. The service was also good and the restaurant seemed clean. Sajj Mediterranean is a located in a local kitchen so you have few other restaurant options there as well, which I liked.

Woo! So happy that Roseville has Sajj! Think of it as Mediterranean Chipotle, it is so good! Fresh ingredients that taste so good together. They have salad/rice bowls, wraps, falafel, chicken and steak shwarma, and baklava. A vegan option is available too! I ordered a chicken shwarma tumeric rice bowl and it was very good. The presentation was very nice too, it wasn't thrown together sloppily. A bit disappointed that they don't have the pomegranate chicken as an option but hopefully they'll add it later? The ingredients that come with the bowl are delicious, fresh, and all the different flavors meld together, such a yummy change up from Chipotle. I'm hoping it does well enough where they can open a standalone location so they have the full spread of options for toppings but what they offer now still makes for a delicious meal. I think it will also allow for bigger portions and customization to your bowl which makes it a good deal for your $$, so I do think ordering it through Local Kitchens you aren't getting as much as you usually would, but still a good amount. You get to choose a ton of toppings and sauces without additional cost which is great! You HAVE to get the sumac cauliflower and garlic spread added to your meal, it's a must! **I won't take off a star but PLEASE cut the sumac onions thinner, the chunks were way too big which made the taste overwhelming.
